COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 16-hour course, introduces participants to the principles and practices of women’s leadership, drawing extensively from SEWA’s grassroots experience in organising women in the informal economy. Through self-assessment, practice sessions, case studies, field explorations, and discussions, participants explore how women leaders build collective strength, promote gender equality, and advance economic and social justice.
The course highlights SEWA’s 42+ years of organising, capacity building, and advocacy, providing practical lessons on leadership roles, collective bargaining, empowerment, and women’s economic contributions.
