This course aims to deepen participants’ understanding of their personal and societal relationship to feminism, exploring its historical emergence, key concepts, and power dynamics. Through interactive exercises, videos, and readings, participants will develop a stronger grasp of feminist theory, engage with their own feminist actions, and enhance their ability to apply feminist principles in both private and public spheres. By the end, participants will feel more knowledgeable, empowered, and prepared to take meaningful feminist actions.

The course is designed for anyone who is a social justice activist and has some familiarity with feminism. You might not call yourself a feminist but you are interested in exploring what feminism could mean for you as a person and as a social justice activist.
Learning Outcome
Have a deeper understanding of power relations as well as feminist theory, history and concepts. Feel excited to use a feminist lens in their private and public lives. Identify feminist actions they would like to take in their private and public lives.
