COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for worker educators to gain practical knowledge and confidence in designing and delivering online courses using IFWEA’s Online Learning Academy (OLA). Through a participatory and collaborative approach, this course supports educators in exploring the fundamentals of course design—from selecting meaningful topics to piloting courses. The course draws on popular education methodologies to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for diverse learners in the labour movement.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR?
This course is intended for worker educators, trade union facilitators, and NGO education practitioners who are interested in creating or improving their online courses for organisational members and learners..
PRE-REQUISITES: WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED CRITERIA FOR ATTENDING THIS COURSE?
- Participants should have basic digital literacy, the ability to access a stable internet connection, and familiarity with online communication tools.
- Prior experience in educational work, either online or offline, is recommended but not mandatory.
