Three new publications have been released by UNI Global Union / Professionals and Managers (UNI P& M)

IFWEA has released its Operational Plan for 2021, with a full programme of study circles, online training, education courses, research, and promotion of digital awareness and skills.

Three reports that explore trade union responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, including feedback on digital communication systems, online education, and the use of websites and online applications to build digital solidarity, have been released.

From ODL, Guatemala Labour Rights Observatory – ODL Guatemala – is an initiative of a coalition of trade unions in Guatemala, CGTG, and UNSITRAGUA HISTORICA, supported by National Confederation of Christian Trade Unions of the Netherlands – CNV International’s programme since 2018.

The WEA has had long-standing connections with IFWEA which have waned over the last couple of years.  On joining the WEA as CEO we have sought to rebuild our international connections.  We are both members of SOLIDAR and through this, myself and Sahra Ryklief have renewed the relationship leading to this application

The turbulent circumstances of 2020 were unprecedented. As Covid-19 became a global reality, especially when borders started shutting down and restrictions on movement and travel were imposed, we thought that much of our programme may have to change.
